It's that time of year again!!!
The Arizona Young Actors' Alliance is proud to once again present the AYAA Awards. Last year was a smashing success, with over 500 people voting on the final awards. There are a lot of great awards programs in our area, but I wanted to create an awards program where the people nominate and select winners just for young actors -- not necessarily just youth theatre. Youth rewarding youth.
So this awards program will have some classic awards, but it will also feature some more silly awards -- things you might use as high school superlatives. I have made superlatives for my high school theatre class for the past three years, so I picked a few of my favorites to include in this.
Nominations for the 2017 Awards open today and run through July 20th at noon! So get your nominations in ASAP.
All youth productions and youth actors are eligible. Adults working on youth shows in a direction or design category are also eligible.
